Yamaguchi Electric Ind. Co., Ltd. ("the Company") will address information security based on the following policy to protect information assets from accidents, disasters, crime and other threats, and to live up to the trust of its customers and society.

1.Responsibility of management The Company will endeavor to systematically and continuously improve and advance its information security at the initiative of management.

2.Development of internal structure The Company will establish an organization to maintain and improve information security and formulate information security measures as official internal rules.

3.Employee efforts The Company's employees will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for information security to ensure that information security efforts are successful.

4.Compliance with laws, regulations and contractual requirements The Company will comply with laws, regulations, norms and contractual obligations related to information security to live up to customers' expectations.

5.Handling violations and incidents Should any legal or regulatory violation, contractual breach or incident related to information security occur, the Company will deal with it properly and strive to prevent recurrence.
